Re: Olympic Singles Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated July 29, 2016)

How many more withdraws until they award a wildcard to Johnny Groove? We can't be that far off.

Re: Olympic Singles Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated July 31, 2016)

If Djokovic put performance like this year, issue of winner is already resolved. My tips for tennis on Olympics games are:
1. Djokovic
2. Murray
3. Wawrinka
But, where we can find odds for this tournament?

There are reports that Nadal will be replaced in singles by Carreno Busta, staying to play doubles with Lopez though.

Now that Wawa also withdraws, who will fill the spot he left?

I heard Nadal will make his decision today, in a meeting with Toni and Conchita Martinez. Most likely will skip singles, but not decided yet.

In other news, Thanasi Kokkinakis arrived in Rio...but not his tennis bag, missing somewhere between Melbourne and Rio.

Re: Hamburg Entry List (updated May 31, 2016)

He wasn't very keen (to say the least) on playing the Olympics in RG (called it "tennis tourism" because of the lack of points and prize money). I would be very suprised if he changed his mind. On the other hand I saw that he didn't sign up for Atlanta, so maybe you're right.
Gulbis is playing WTT instead of Olympics or Atlanta/Los Cabos.

Yeah, he's in the progress of completely changing his FH (again) so he's taking a break from tour (only played Toronto because he surprisingly got into MD after all those withdrawals, he hadn't entered Quallies). He's been practicing with his new coach in San Diego for more than a month now.

He only played one tie in WTT, not the whole thing. ;)
