Good for Massu, those points will really help out his ranking when he repeats.

Why not make it 500? Just to make things logical

Points at the Olimpics?

This is play for your country first, for you second. Silly.

How come that some sports consider Olympics the most important event out there, while some other sports only value them marginally?

Historic reasons?

Tennis was not an Olympic sport for 60 years
And when the likes of Massu and Fish play Olympics final it doesn't help its image as well.

Bet the organisers of the US Open lead-ins are a bit peaved about this. It's scheduled the same week as Washington, which only offers half the points...will be interesting to see who plays where.

Washington is traditionaly a 48 man draw...who's going to end up there if the top guys(theoretically) play in Beijing?! although, a maximum of four players from any one country can enter the singles.

The tennis centre looks quite impressive though...

the same quantity as in the last olympics. btw it gives less points and money than a master series event.
I didn't think money was given for winning the Olympics:scratch: An unexpected winner like Massu did get more endorsements but that was it I believe.
