Dissing Murray in favor of Stan is ludicrous. Andy has far more accomplishments.

If someone wants to claim there's not a Big 4 but a Big 3, okay. Murray is a level below, then Stan and Delpo a level below Andy.

Stan's AO and Del Potro's USO were far more impressive than Mugray's 2 slams. Wawrinka simply has a higher peak than Murray. Explains why he's beaten him two times already at the USO.

lol, what's Wawrinka's second best tournament win.. a 250?

The argument could definitely be made that if Nadal hadn't been injured in Australia, the likes of Granollers and Monaco would have won bigger singles titles than Wawrinka at this point.. :haha: Sorry but if that doesn't say it all, nothing will. Big four of underachievers is more like it. Just enjoy it while it lasts.

:haha:

Murray is a far better player than Wawrinka. End of. You can try to delude yourselves as much as possible to convince yourselves otherwise but it won't change the fact Murray is in a whole other league to Wawrinka.

2 slams vs 1 slam
7 slam finals vs 1 slam final(against injured opposition at that)
9 masters 1000 titles vs 0 masters 1000 titles
28 career titles vs 5 career titles
9 wins h2h vs 5 wins h2h
26 years old vs 29 years old

But yeah, apart from all that I guess you could argue that Stan is nearly as good as Murray

BS. Andy beat-yes, beat not fluked or was gifted- a peak Djokovic for those 2 slams. You know, that guy you started worshiping way back in 2011. That guy who we hear constantly is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Andy also has several M1000's and an OG. The later of the best grass player of all time at his favorite venue.

Stan and Delpo would be exceedingly lucky to come anywhere close to these achievements.

Using the twin hammer blows of logic and reason to most Murray haters is futile, the guy could win 10 slams and they would still shout "fluke"

The fact is, all 4 are probably equally talented, yet Murray has more brain farts than the other 3. So he's the weakest of the 4, someone has to be, to some that means he is useless as a tennis player. The bottom line is, most players on tour would love to have statistics like his, just because they don't hold a candle to the achievements of the other 3 when put side by side, does not mean his record isn't a fantastic one in it's own right.

If he was born luckier and the other 3 did not exist, his accomplishments would stand head and shoulders above anyone else on tour.

It's a big three and always has been. Murray, Wawrinka, Del Potro, etc are a level below the likes of Federer, Nadal and Djokovic.
But Murray is British and only has lost when people display top 5 performance of all time to beat him... according to Simon Reed
