They could be, and I agree with Snowwy in that they would still have a very good chance to come back and win. Not sure they could be labelled as favourites in that position (especially if Dave is fresh enough to play doubles), but they couldn't be written off.

If Djokovic takes to the court on Sunday, you'd expect him to win.
Tipsarevic's level at the US Open was scary, and he'd be a comfortable favourite to beat Dave based on that.

Argentina absolutely need that 2-0 lead today though imo. Troicki can still easily come back (currently a set down), but hopefully Dave will keep his composure as this is a nice match-up for him. Tipsarevic is dangerous, but if Serbia are 0-1 then it is a real pressure match for him and I'd almost expect Del Potro to capitalise.
