Oh:sad: they sort of go hand in hand. Schizophrenia in a way defined his brilliance. He battled it and won despite not being able to escape its reality. Admirable alone for his genius but even more so because of his battle for mental freedom.

What is not true?
Pratik means that mathematicians and economists will regard John Nash with higher esteem because of his contributions to those fields and not simply for his schizophrenia and appearance in that Russell Crowe film...His "Game Theory" is of course highly applicable and revolutionary to both parties.

I was referring to the WSJ title though, I think he misunderstood me.

btw they of course made a more extended article on him, today there's one on The New Yorker website, have yet to read it though.
