Very disrespectful to a legend like Santoro. Yes he may not have been the 'best' player, but his style has entertained thousands and he is one of the most popular players with true fans. I managed to get a number of my friends into tennis thanks to him.

Well, Santoro IS a journeyman, and always has been. I don't see what's the issue here.

Well, that unfortunately is the term they use for a lot of players "like Santoro" -- very good results, some good scalps, without standout results.

In some ways it is like "clay court specialist" -- they think they are telling a fact without realizing that they could be insulting someone.

Doubles titles have no bearing on singles results. In singles, Santoro is a journeyman. Get over it.

Poor Santoro - 20 year's service to the sport, only to be given the journeyman tag.

Any less and they would have given him the title of clown.

People who call Santoro a journeyman are retarded. That label gets handed out far too frequently.

Well...that's not very nice. Even if it were true (which it really isn't), why say it?
