I watched this one. First of all it's a bit of a letdown that ATP tournament like this in a rich country doesn't have hawkeye. at 5-5 in the second set TB a Karlovic putaway volley was really close to the sideline, called out, ref overruled. Marchenko was livid. Literally could cost him the match. But somehow Karlovic lost the next 2 service points and the set. Still he was the better player, even though the serve wasn't going that well (only 11 aces, vs Berdych in similar circumstances he had 45), he didn't face not only BP but even deuce. Marchenko was solid on his own too for 2 sets but then you can't hold consistently all the time. Slipped in the game he was broken and fell. Oh well.
In any case no hawkeye is quite bad. Berrer would have possibly won (going up set and 2-0 if not a questionable call) and the same in the next match, decisive point really close.
