I do this every few years after Nadal wins a French Open. Back in 14 after he won a grueling final and had a new slam winner before that. 2017 after Federer's seeming return to dominance, and now, like 2014 where the previous slam has a new winner.

I keep thinking it's the last time I do this because of Nadal's age, but he's defied every non French Open slam expectation of him. He uses every Roland Garros he wins as a springboard to give himself a chance to do more

You never know if he is ever winning a Slam again but I think getting his second Australian Open finally will be his next motivation. And now he’s made history with capital letters he’ll be more confident and with less pressure.
