It won't do much ruin a lot imo.
Already, obtaining 39 or 40 MS in a career is no small matter, it requires consistency and longevity, and the best record per season is 5 or 6, I don't know anymore either.
It's not adding one that will change much in terms of health, consistency and level that it requires.
Then, these tournaments were invented in 1990 by ATP and so called "big titles" since the end of the 2010s, not to mention the fact that many have changed location, site, and even playing conditions (only 1 remains indoor).
Finally, the formulas have also evolved, end of bo5 finals for everyone, passage from 1 to 2 weeks for some. etc
In short ...
gone with the wind, MS marks an era, not the overall history of the game... whose organization has not finished changing..
