Powerpoint had an excellent day yesterday, going 1-9, let's hope today can be as successful.

Carlsen over Santoro @ 2.84
Llodra over Blake @ 5.00
Hanescu over Rusedski @ 3.10
Jenkins over Robredo @ 6.10

adding

Kostanic over Groenefeld @ 2.72
Llagostera over Hantuchova @ 6.2

So far I like.

Srichaphan over Saulnier X Chela over Baghdatis @ $2.20
I agree with you there. My money's on the same proposition. However, I suggest you shop for better lines. On usually overpriced Ladbrokes, that parlay would pay $2.25.

Originally I had thought of going for Santoro over Carlsen, but with Srichaphan over Saulnier being at the same price, it has to be safer, if, obviously, not safe. At least in that match we can see a clear and striking difference in recent hard court form. Saulnier's had a horrid hard court season, and Srichaphan on the other hand has been playing very well here and there.

I'm definitely hesitant about Chela vs Baghdatis, though the way Chela's been playing, and with Baghdatis' lack of games, it has to be one of the better bets of the day.

Good luck to you on that one... and to me

Feliciano Lopez V Davide Sanguinetti 2 @ 3.00 is very very tempting for small-medium stakes ! Lopez is out of form losing at the last 2 HC tourneys to Younes El Aynaoui and Richard Gasquet in the first round ! He is a good clay-courter but on hard it's another story! Sanguinetti overcame local Kevin Kim in 1st round and has got an above-mediocre season on hard! He won a CH in Recanati, SF at Sunrise and QF at Scottsdale. In Montreal he lost very hard to Gaudio, and in Cincinnati didn't make the main draw! He has a good serve, experience and he can beat Lopez today whose mind is maybe fixed on the US Open!

Lopez is a good clay-courter? Perhaps it is a different Lopez than the won who lost in the first round in RG but reached the QF at Wimby ?

Hernych did not play well, to say the least.

Do not let the result mislead you into thinking Verdasco's worth the bet against Soderling.

If Soderling is capable of beating Nando in RG and earlier in Austria, both on clay, he can surely defeat him on hard. But I stayed away, Soderling is a sucker

verdasco's game is better suited to HC IMO

I've been working on a special Microsoft Word tennis analysis document for the past nine and a third months, and I'm ready now to put it to the test. After a pain-staking effort, I ran all the current matches through my document's intricate system, made sure to hit the spell/grammar check button, and came up with the following:

T Robredo @ 1.12
D Sanguinetti @ 2.75
P Kohlschreiber @ 2.37
K Carlsen @ 2.50
M Llodra @ 4.00

It gave me a no-play for R Mello vs A Ram.

Curiously, all of the following matches figured to be a ties:

J I Chela vs M Baghdatis
P Srichaphan vs C Saulnier
G Rusedski vs V Hanescu
F Verdasco vs R Soderling

Sadly, though, I couldn't find so much as ONE sportsbook that'd give me odds on those propositions.

Good luck to everybody.
