You know what I'm talking about...guys who have lots of talent but are such headcases.

For me, I say

-Xavier Malisse
-Gilles Muller
-Andrey Golubev
-Tomas Bellucci
-Viktor Troicki

now, your turn.

Troicki was number 12 last year!

Xavier Malisse was number 19

Bellucci was number 21...almost made it!

Except Malisse (who now is 30+) your list is awful, wouldnt like to see any of those in the top 20!

I would say:

Davydenko
Kohlschreiber
Nalbandian
Gulbis
Cilic

Most guys in the top100. Once you reach a certain level everyone can hit a fh/bh and run around. It's the mental aspect that allows a player to win those close matches where only a few points differ. And more importantly: to pull through matches when the player has a bad day. Everyone can win when they are red hot and hitting the lines. Winning when everything isn't top notch is what gives consistency and allows for streaks. Winning streaks is what gives titles and big ranking points. I make some picks anyway but excluding obvious ones that's already been in top20 or even in the top10 (like Davydenko, Nalbandian, Verdasco, JCF, Blake, Hewitt and so on, those most have been mental studs earlier in their careers)

Belluci.
I see potential in his offensive tennis. Needs mental strength

Raonic.
Get Isner mental strength and top20 is close, maybe top10

Anderson
Same as Raonic. Late bloomer but big potential with better mental strength

Andujar. Very good player but after seeing his letdowns like when he dropped a set after being 5-1 up vs Nadal in RG, Some mental strength and he will climb the rankings

Haase.
Also got a great game but his mental shortcomings holds him back
