Some strange results in doubles lately. First time seing Ker in action live and I must say he was even better than Dave in some areas, serve and voleying.:worship:

Lucas Arnold took 3 years off the game and is coaching the Argies for doubles in Davis Cup.

He isn't a hack on the doubles court and is 1-0 over Federer in singles.

The last name is Arnold Ker, not Ker, and he's a longtime doubles specialist, even though not up to the level of Erlich/Ram so this is a surprising result :yeah:

The fact is that Dave/Lucas were really better and this result is not just a fluke. They had a double break in first set, but Dave blew his serve. He even missed 2 easy set points voleying on net in a TB. They were broken in a first game of second set and after that rolled 6 games in a row.

Big applause for Lucas Arnold. The reason he's been away from the tour is that he's been battling cancer. Months of chemotherapy, surgery, couldn't even walk for a period of time. And good karma for Nalby, the sometimes reluctant but good doubles player, for partnering up with him for this tourney. Hope they take the title.
