Re: Nadal vs. Coria ..who wins china open?

It'll be tough for Coria but I have a feeling he will not go down without a fight. It could be a very good 3 setter.
yes, if Coria gives up his sudden foolish surprises of playing below level, i think it'll be an interesting and a very close one, both went through three difficult set matches on the way to the finals, though may be Coria faced tougher ones ...
Nadal-Coria, my favourite finals ever

As for the question, I haven't seen either all week, so what do I know. I suppose that I will go with Nadal, but Coria winning wouldn't be a surprise either. I'm wishy washy :)

Coria. I hope at least.
You don't want to see Nadal win his tenth title on the year?

Actually, I kind of want Coria to win... but if he does, I can't hear the HATAS whine that Nadal blows and he will never again win ten titles in a year again - as if that is some sort of smack down
I really don't think that Coria can beat Nadal tomorrow. He was barely able to win today against Johansson. I have to say Nadal in two sets.

10 titles... jeezus.
It's crazy. I didn't realise that, I'm even more for Coria now. :)
Rafa in 3 sets. Both of these have become really good all-surface players.
Coria, but he has to serve well.
nadal will win based on coria's energy level this week, but if it goes to three, i think coria will win because he has rolled through every 3rd set playing his best once he gets there. nadal has seemed far from unbeatable at both the USO and barely won his first round against gimelstob, who is far less than a ToJo.

Tojo is a totally different matchup than Gimelstob though, so you can't really say that ;)
go on nadal- take coria out of it...
Since losing to Federer in Miami, Nadal has been building an impressive finals win streak as well, he's undefeated in his last seven finals and looks to make it eight tomorrow.

I'm going to go with Nadal 6-3 6-1.
If Nadal wins I wonder if this surface will be called "Chinese clay".

well, i do think Coria has better chances for beating Nadal on Hard court than on clay at least this season , to be honest , i haven't seen both this week , but seems Nadal was struggling for less tougher players except for Ferrero..it 's highly dependent on Coria's mood ..

Agree... :)

i don't know what is to be wishy washy, but if this means that u like both players and u 'll not be sad if the match goes either way...then i am a wishy washy too.. :toothy:

i'll live with that, but imagine if he loses, how many threads 'll rise speaking of how the clay courter Nadal is a loser on non-clay courts..??
it's just hard to predict here but when the heart speaks.... then Nadal
