I'd never noticed that before. So I think the order was like: Murray, Nadal, Nadal, Nadal, Murray, Nadal, Nadal, Nadal, Nadal, Nadal, Muray, Murray, Murray, Nadal, Murray, Nadal, Nadal. 11 for Nadal, 6 for Murray.

Weird that none had both.

That is interesting, and even more interesting that in none of them did they play each other.

Federer, Nadal, or Djokovic have competed at every gs final since 2005 RG. Sunday will be the 36 gs final in a row. Just saying.
that adds an entire other player though and infinite more allowed combinations

the Murray-Nadal thing is rather surprising, although arguably mostly because of Nadal

didn't Federer make every final between '05 W and '10 AO except the '08 AO? (18 out of 19)

so you could say he and Djokovic contested 19 straight GS finals, or even he and Tsonga contested 19 straight finals. a bit of a meaningless stat.

Tsonga only accounts for one of those. Murray contributes six to this combo.

Not really meaningful, but interesting nevertheless.
