Felix got the invite for off season training for Rafa to see his level. If you are FAA and Rafa invites you for training, you are going to go 1000000% right!

That's exactly what Rafa wants, to see his best level, which can be shown in practice, with no pressure. Meanwhile, Rafa played in off season speed (60-70%), and gained valuable knowledge on FAA while revealing nothing

Now that the event is much closer, it is time to train with the best, to see the level of your biggest opponents. Even some loss in an exho is allowable if you gain insight to the form and shape of a top opponent

Different state different rules. Australian states have just as much autonomy as US states (see California vs Florida).

TA had to ask SA to quarantine some players because they blew out their arrival/quarantine limit in Victoria and SA refused unless they got something in return (exhibition).
