When you realize the next 3 slams are RG, AO, RG... theorethically Djokovic has the best chance for DCGS but on the other hand when you think of slam race Rafa is in the driving seat.

The ball won’t bounce that low even in wet conditions and it will be very slow! Thiem till take care of Novak in those conditions for sure. And the weather is unpredictable. It’s quite hot at the moment in France, so let’s wait and see. Ilwould not shock me if there is some heatwave

I'll be curious to see what half they put Thiem in. If he's in the top half than they are probably hoping to set up a Thiem/Nadal final, but if they want to set up a Djokovic/Nadal final they will probably put Thiem in the bottom half.

The draw is irrelevant. Novak's problem at RG has always been the external factors. This time, there won't be any to derail him. It will be super cold, which Novak will love due to the ball bouncing low and him simply hating heat. Cold weather will hurt Nadal since the balls will bounce low. The roof will block the wind, like it does at USO. There won't be bad scheduling anymore either. Novak needed to previously play many days in a row, including RG 15, which cost him the title. He will now play every other day. There is no possible way he can lose via external factor this time since there won't be any external factors. And given Novak's form and how angry and determined he will be after USO to win, is there any doubt he will win?
You seriously think Djokovic will beat Nadal on RG? When it never happened except when Nadal was at his worst level ever ?

Novak is going to win RG in a few weeks. Not only is he in peak form, but there won't be any external factors to derail him. It will be very cold and maybe damp. The balls will be bouncing much lower. Also, with the new roof, the wind probably won't even be a factor anymore like it isn't at USO.
He will win RG just like he just won USO.

The Big 2 should exchange slams like the champions and gentlemen they are, and deservedly eliminate Fed from any serious GOAT discussion.

As Nadal has been historically rather bad than good at the start of the season and at AO since like 2015 (with the obvious exception of '17), Djokovic may achieve this sooner.
He would really need to fight Thiem and/or Djokovic for another AO title, which is unlikely after what happened in last years.

Djokovic had the elbow injury, then came back (was not 100% yet in '18)... then had the wind-blowing match vs Thiem last year, all could be overcome with a better form and the roof now.
And Nole doesnt have to fight tru Thiem and Rafa also?

I think Rafa has a better chance than Djok, i.e. of getting AO again vs Djok getting FO again. But a tough ask for both of them.
Fed has zero chance.

You write "put THiem in" As if they place seeds 3 and 4. I know this is the subject of endless speculation, whether the draw is truly random (beyond 1 and 2). I hate to think they're placed, intentionally, but don't doubt they are. Whoever has to play Thiem in the semi is at a huge disadvantage.

But Rafa has handled him pretty easily at RG; Djok hasn't.

I just figured he can pump up his level to 2015-16esque for the last 2 matches.
Not very likely, but not impossible either.

Specialist is unlikely to win another AO title. King will stomp on his head again if he dares to set foot in another AO final. Knowing Specialist, he will not be too keen for that and run away.

King on the other hand can't wait to face Specialist again at the FO to do a repeat of the last time they met there in the devastating beatdown of 2015.

But this time he wants to do it in the final to get maximum satisfaction.

King will lose his crown to Prince Thiem at AO, and then GOATdal will pick up the pieces for his double career grand slam and become rightful GOAT

Nadal is more likely to win AO than Djokovic RG, simply because Nadal is always guaranteed the easiest HC draw, inasmuch as that he can enter AO final without the need for defensive tennis like the last year.

Likewise, Djokovic can never get an easier RG draw than Nadal.

Djokovic has almost always been placed in Nadal's half at RG (when not seeded 1 & 2), whereas since 2008 till his slump 2015 period Nadal was never in Djokovic's half at AO, never in Djokovic's half at USO, never in Djokovic's half at Wimb. and will avoid Djokovic till the next slump period.

After their USO'07 final two HC goats Federer & Djokovic were always in the same half at AO & USO for eight consecutive slams till 2012, so that Nadal could finally make HC slam final (after six rubbers vs Federer at RG/Wimb) and face more tired winner in the final after Fed-Djok SF 5-setters.

The similar case was with peaking Stan the man since 2013 and his many HC 4R/QF/SF rubbers vs Djokovic, with Nadal always in the opposite HC half, so that Djokovic has amassed dozen SF/QF HC rubbers vs peaking Federer & Stan (numerous epic 5-setters), whereas Nadal zero such SF/QF HC slam rubbers.

The same case will be with peaking Thiem in RG who was in Djokovic's half in 2018 and 2019.

Bulldal’s pounded by journeymen on all surfaces and he has to “rest” to avoid being dominated constantly. His brutal body pain causes him to be hesitant, more and more every year.
