Djokovic has been denied 3 times - twice by Nadal and once by Wawrinka.
Nadal has been denied 4 times - twice by Djokovic, once by Federer and once by Wawrinka.

Surely at least one of them will achieve it by the end of their careers, right?

As Nadal has been historically rather bad than good at the start of the season and at AO since like 2015 (with the obvious exception of '17), Djokovic may achieve this sooner.
He would really need to fight Thiem and/or Djokovic for another AO title, which is unlikely after what happened in last years.

Djokovic had the elbow injury, then came back (was not 100% yet in '18)... then had the wind-blowing match vs Thiem last year, all could be overcome with a better form and the roof now.

Just a little clarification: Djokovic hasn’t been “denied” the DCGS yet. He hasn’t been to an RG final since winning it for the first time.

Novak is going to win RG in a few weeks. Not only is he in peak form, but there won't be any external factors to derail him. It will be very cold and maybe damp. The balls will be bouncing much lower. Also, with the new roof, the wind probably won't even be a factor anymore like it isn't at USO.

Also, they will have to finish the matches that same day instead of scheduling it the day later. So, Novak won't have to deal with bad scheduling like he did in the past where he used to play multiple days in a row. So..... no heat, no wind, and no scheduling disadvantage anymore, plus Novak is playing great tennis and the balls will be bouncing low because it will be really cold. Novak will achieve DCGS in a few weeks.

Neither will achieve it. One always faces players in great form in final the other needs Murray to choke the final.

There is a "small" problem, though, as long as there is Nadal in the draw, it is clear who gets an easier or a lot easier (seeds permitting) AO, RG, USO draw.

Lol at these trolls who claim that the wind affects Djoko but not the cold..... The only peak form exhibited by Djoko is in mimicking a testosterone filled Silverback.

The draw is irrelevant. Novak's problem at RG has always been the external factors. This time, there won't be any to derail him. It will be super cold, which Novak will love due to the ball bouncing low and him simply hating heat. Cold weather will hurt Nadal since the balls will bounce low. The roof will block the wind, like it does at USO. There won't be bad scheduling anymore either. Novak needed to previously play many days in a row, including RG 15, which cost him the title. He will now play every other day. There is no possible way he can lose via external factor this time since there won't be any external factors. And given Novak's form and how angry and determined he will be after USO to win, is there any doubt he will win?

Don't worry they will come up with an excuse right before his imminent roast.

I just looked at the weather for the final. I know it's not reliable that far out, but they're expecting temperatures in the high 50s. The ball will be bouncing really low. I can't wait for RG to begin. 😊

If losing a set to Edmug and needing 2 consecutive chokes to win a tourney, especially one by a player who he’s never lost to, is his peak form, then that’s a lil concerning don’t ya think?

Novak had neck issues in Cincy, but still won. He was far from his best in Cincy. As for Edmund, he lost a TB but won the final three sets easily. Novak was peaking at the USO and serving better than ever. He also plays much better in slams than he does elsewhere. Anyway, let's wait for RG to begin. Novak will do all the talking.

Him being ass in Cincy is a given and I guess we can say he was peaking till 5-4 40-0 😊

I wouId agree it's possibIe, not probabIe, IF aII the conditions r right at RG CIay but on the other surfaces these factors (draws, cIimate, wind) wouIdn't matter nearIy as much. At this moment, of the big 3, i would favor Novak’s chances the most.

The OP forgot that recently both were denied by Thiem. Not only they have to overcome (or avoid?) each other but the field (headed by the Austrian) as well. It'll be difficult for them to get DCGS.

Thiem is dangerous for sure.
Problem for Dom is he could take 1 out in the semifinal, but then find that he is spent for the final, as what happened last year.
