Absolutely brilliant match, :hatoff: to both players. An absolute epic, 3 hours 54 minutes. Will possibly be one of the matches of the year.

Moya's forehand was unstoppable at times. He had 4 match points in the 2nd set and served for the match in the 3rd.

Rafa fought like an animal, it was great to see him with his fighting spirit back which seemed to disappear towards the end of last year. Far too far behind the baseline again at times, the amount of running he did was ridiculous. Also too many short balls to Moya's forehand but a warrior-like performance.

Youzhny must be laughing himself silly (if he isn't already fast asleep).

Moya is a warrior, it was a pleasure to watch him playing like that even if he lost.

best non-grand slam match I've ever seen! Wow! Too bad Moya ran out of gas a little at the end - he was freakin' terrific and Nadal was as usual brilliant. Hot damn.

This was the best match that I've seen since the Wimbledon final. What a match.

Great test for Nadal! Take the title tomorrow.

Absolutely brilliant match! :worship:
Some amazing shots by both players throughout the match, Moya played incredible, he just was a little out of gas I think at the end of the third set.
Nadal, a true warrior. :worship:

Rafa should really have won the match in 2, but his serve is much improved from the end of last year. (this was the first match I watched this year)

Winners/UE

Rafa 41/32
Moya 41/44

Great match from both players. Shame Moya couldn't convert one of his match points in the 2nd set tb or serve it out in the 3rd but the better, fitter player won in the end.
