Pretty rusty from Rafa, far too many errors. Good fight though.

Baghdatis was truly awful

Expected result, if there was ever one...

Baghdatis is too stupid to pose any kind of challenge to any serious player right now.
Expected win.

Baghdatis sucks, I don't know why people keep overrating him. He only got 2 big results in 2006 (reaching the AO final and the Wimby SF). Other than that he has done nothing at all.
11 W, 24 UE Rafa? Ugly.

Baggy is lame nowadays...

I thought the second set was a lot better, actually. I expected the first set to be rusty - he always is after such a long break. The mental toughness is there though, which for Nadal is almost as important.

The Bagman sucked big time.
Not enough balls and grit.
Expected result..........Baghdatis:eek: Nadal was a bit rusty coming off a couple weeks break so I expected this to go to 3 sets with Nadal ultimately winning.

Nevertheless, if Nadal serves tomorrow as he did today, I like Murray's chances more and more for tomorrow.
Nadal was awful out of the gate, low serve %, shocking forehand misses. But then, Baggy decide to turn up his stupidity level, helped Nadal into the match and the rest was history. A man this clueless will never achieve anything.
double digits of UE for Rafa in only the first few games :/ Pretty rusty indeed. Got better toward the end though so it's all good
Worse than against Fed in Cincy?
Probably. Nadal was there to be beaten today, and he just made a ridiculous number of errors.
Very rusty start from Rafita, way too many UE's...   - but he played a lot better in the second set, so that's at least a good sign. Not all to happy to see him play with bandaged knees again, I hope it's just a precaution!   dear Raf!

Raf should be able to grow into the tournament from what I've been able to see this evening. Not yet a candidate for the final, but I trust he'll be able to improve himself a lot, as he is so very capable of enhancing his playing level when it's truly necessary, as he once again showed in this match. :yeah:

Good luck Raf on your next match against Muzza! :yeah:

And Baggy... no, NO, and NO.
Some good shots, but once again, a clear headcase. Get yourself together again Baggy!
Rafa :yeah:
A few incredible points and a whole load of rubbish.

Nadal plays like that tomorrow whilst Murray plays like he did vs Chela and it'll be over in an hour or so.
Good result as Muzza is mental midget when he plays baghdatinho, who is always a utter mental midget when he plays Nadal anyway.

now hopefully Nadal will get the spanking he deserves tomorrow from the Haggis.
Rigged. Very strange shot selections from Baggy trousers. Hitting easy middle of the court shots, that Nadal can attack, when he's got break points and then going for broke when he was facing break points. Either a cunning plan or really bloody stupid.

People think it's only Baghdatis' on court thinking.

The guy is stupid on and off the court, just good old stupidity, nothing sophisticated.

Yes.

Hard to determine much from the match.

Murray probably has a 50-50 chance of beating Nadal tommorrow.
Nadal forces errors from opponents. They can often touch the heavy ball but not hit it back anymore.
Baggy is fast.
