2014 Backray/Staminaray matches don't count in this head to head.

Australian Open 2015, Murray took Nole to 4 on the Serb's favourite slow surface and only imploded after seeing a possum, and the expectation of winning his first AO.

Indian Wells 2015, the slow surface and high bounce allow Nole to set up short lobbed replies for his forehand.

Miami 2015, Murray had Djokovic rattled, but again Nole outlasted Murray in the heat and slowish surface, even though all the final set service games went to deuce.

French Open 2015, Murray took Djoker to a fifth set on clay, and Andy got on top by getting back to their old backhand to backhand rallies. Nole took the decider by getting the ball bouncing high again, dictating with his forehand and shortening the points, but only after a match in which Murray finally got the better of Nole in the 20+ shot rallies.

Murray has proved his fitness to himself again, and the surfaces only get faster for the second half of the year, allowing Murray to counter better and hit his forehand through the courts.

Murray's serve will get more zip on these courts and Bjorkman will be there with a few more tweaks to Slamray 2.0's game.

Djoker won the 2015 matches on slower, higher-bouncing courts, and outside of Fed, Murray is the only player to push Djoker in big matches.

Now Grassray, Hardray and Bjorkray will take Murray's wins against Djoker into double-figures. :worship:

19-8 for a reason. 7 without a retirement from Nole.

Yep. That reason being Murray's surgery.

This was a very close h2h before is began to get out of control in 2014.

The only reason the h2h is so lopsided is because of Andy's surgery  He's been improving constantly this year and will like his chances on grass and the quicker hardcourts during the second half of the season. He'll definitely get multiple wins against Djokovic if they meet.

Djokovic might retire after Murray beats him so badly at Wimby and USO

:haha: Saying this after losing 8 in a row.

Also this disgusting pushing tactics Murray used to rattle No1e (since nothing else worked) will not work on any other surface. Especially not on Wimbledon or USO.

Djokovic will destroy Murray on faster surfaces , probably because he is more aggressive player than Andy.

Andy is greatest defender on tour, with ability to defend great on the beginning of point , to put it into neutral state, than he creates transition to offense and takes point.

For this game play he needs slower surfaces . On faster surfaces he simply cannot defend so good - catch every ball and make opponent to make one more shot like he does on clay. Only exception of this rule, is Wimbledon in week 2 . Because grass gets destroyed around baseline, on week 2 of Wimbledon you generally play almost like on clay.

Own Djokovic? Not happening. Murray is just not mentally tough enough to beat Djokovic nowadays. But I can see Murray winning another Wimbledon and/or US Open this year - against Djokovic.

I'm afraid the facts don't back up your arguments, Murray has had more success on faster surfaces against Novak.

Novak 3-0 in slam finals against Murray on super slow Aus Open
Novak 0-2 in slam finals against Murray on the faster Wimbledon and US Open surfaces.

Wimbledon in week 2 and US Open are also slow courts .

90% of balls fall on the dirt of the court.

Fact is that Andy Murray is now officially Novak Djokovic's turkey.

Djokovic is simply better tennis player you must admit that. Only possible way how can Andy can beat Novak, is if he defends over the limits, like he did at the end of 3rd and 4th set - catches all balls which are usually winners against other players and force Novak to make UE.

Murray simply cannot outplay Djokovic and have more winners than him.

Look stats of today match. Djokovic had like 50% more winners than Andy.

That stat proves who is more aggressive player, and more talented shot maker.

In this section Djokovic simply dominates. But Andy is better defender . Djokovic cant catch all balls like BH DTLs and inside out FH's like Andy can.

They are so close when you merge all their talents together in level of tennis, but Djokovic is slightly better.

Thats why he leads 19-8 in wins.

On slower surfaces on which they meet most, Djokovic beats Murray with his attacking tennis , and fitness . Simply as match goes on and on, level of fitness drops on Andy's side thats why he cant catch balls which he usually does at the beginning of match.

I must tell you its very hard to beat Djokovic Novak on this level in best of 5. You need to be fitness animal like Nadal was in his best days . Nobody is on that level today on ATP Tour as I can see.
