It's written in the stars for him now that he has captured his first clay title.

Although this prediction (http://www.menstennisforums.com/showthread.php?t=459329) failed last year, he still reached the SF playing his worst tennis. With his newfound confidence and Nadal weaker than ever compared to last year, Clayray v3.0 is a lock.

Re: Clayray to win the 2015 French Open

Andy will win Roland Garros without dropping a set. He'll defeat Nadal in the quarter-finals, Roger in the semi-finals and then Djokovic in the final. Never in doubt.

He would actually be the favorite I think if he played Federer in RG. The public however have underestimated Clayray who will shock the world by stunning Nadal and Djokovic.

Unbelievable hype after winning virgin MM clay title. :smash: :banghead:

And some people here say Djokovic is overhyped. :bs:

There is a reason Murray has yet to meet Federer on clay, so far...

Respectfully,

Murray can reach the final with a good draw. In other words, Nadal and Djokovic together on the opposite side of the draw.

Apart from the semi last year, Murray's level at the French was excellent and comparable with his first week at Wimbledon level.

Murray donated the AO to his friend Djokovic, then feigned mock anger to encourage publicity for the sport

now he will win all the remaining Slams and take #1 with ease, possibly only dropping a set to Karlovic along the way.

Actually, the RG organisers have declared that in the interest of fairness, Clayray will have to play Djoker, Nadal and Federer in the final all at the same time to make it an even contest.

Fed from the baseline, Novak at the net and Nadal serving? Even Karlovic would have no trouble with them. The truth is that the toughest opponent for Andy is Andy himself, if he plays his best like in Munich, the French crown is his. But the organizers know it and the draw will be tough I'm afraid, he should have saved his first clay title at RG.

You forgot to mention Ronic and Isner also in the side line as sabstitute server... Returnray is bit too much for all of them.

This.
If he can sneak through his side of the draw, and some other outcomes go his way, he has a punchers chance - just like Federer does.
Likewise Federer will be concentrating on getting ready for Wimbledon, but similarly can be the opportunist at RG if things go his way.
Murray is a twice semi-finalist here, he has put himself in a position to go all the way.

I can't live in a world with an Andy who has a French Open, and it doesn't even have to be Andy Murray. An Andy winning a French Open is a disgrace

Djokovic will beat Nadal in the quarters.

Ferrer will beat Djokovic in the semis.

Ferrer losing to Murray on that claycourt would be really something. I doubt it happens. He grinds him down over 5 sets. The only member of top 4 Ferrer might possibly beat in a slam final
