All the signs are there, the game is slowly but surely coming back just in time for Grassray OBE.

Can he be stopped?

He has good chance if he plays like today, the only guy could stop him is Rafa
Novak has small chance and Federer have no chance

No, his luck has been used up.
Forcing the out-of-form Nadal to third set doesn't mean anything too since Youzhny and Simon were capable of doing this too.

He's definitely the favourite.

I would like him to have a good run at Roland garros though as a further boost to his confidence.

I actually think he could produce his best Wimbledon performance wise this year after he got the monkey off his back last year.

I doubt he will be needing any 5 set matches on route to the final this year.

Murray has won 18 straight matches on grass including the Wimbledon and Olympic titles.

He has reached two consecutive Wimbledon finals.

He has won 28 of his last 32 Wimbledon matches going back to 2009.

He is undoubtedly the current best grass court player.

If he wins it will not be a fluke but confirmation of the above fact.

Who do you think is the favourite? :wavey:

yes, specially if he faces djokovic. If its the case Murray will destroy the serb in straights and send him back to belgrade. Now against rafa (if he goes to second week) it will be very difficult.

If he does and the final is anywhere as insane as his 3rd set today I may die of heart failure...

It'll be totally worth it though! Come on, Andy!!!!!

The only top player Mugray can beat on grass is Djokovic who moves awkwardly on grass, his weakest surface or take advantage of a tired Federer playing a 19-17 set in semi.

His stamina looks awful this year so far. Being a Grand Slam the rest days may help him a little bit, but if he's looking knackered in best-of-3 matches, it doesn't bode well if he has to go 5 sets.

Also, no Del Potro to tire out his final opponent this time, and he'll have to recover from Roland Garros too.

Murray is the best player on grass.

His best grass court form is superior to any other player's best grass court form.

On this surface almost all other players are weak, relative to Murray.

He played at 70-80 percent of his best in last years final and slaughtered djokovic.

If Murray greatly recovers his stamina and confidence/focus by then, yes he can win again. Most of his game is back.

Other top players can't seem to negotiate the early rounds to be able to challenge Murray.

Not murray's fault and his quality and consistency on the surface ensures he doesn't suffer their fate.

I agree with you that Murray is much better on grass than djokovic and movement is a major part of this, just like movement is a major part of the reason why djokovic is better than Murray on clay.
