Phew Hyung! This would not have been a good loss. You can go deep this week now that Kohli is out.

game at 1-6 *5-5 was key for Lee
he was *15-40 down and saved some more bps next after deuces
Indeed and Eitzinger did choke a little. He hit some FHs long and completely miss-hit a return. He then totally lost it on a crucial point at 3-1 in the 3rd when the linesman made a late call. He didn't realize at first and then had the mark checked followed by a long argument with the umpire. His focus deserted him after that.

Other than that I thought the Austrian played very well. He hardly made any UEs up until then and some all round solid claycourt tennis. Lee was OK too but played too passively at times, especially returning the weak serve.

Here I filmed the last game of the match.


Eitzinger isn't bad. He's your typical clay expert - slides well, defends well, hits with a lot of topspin, constructs the points with his heavy forehand. Kind of a weak serve which he just spins in.
