Federer was awful :haha:

Still has a lot of work to do until the Australian Open.

Looked slow, sliced terrible, return of serve was non existend, served poor and groundstrokes were not penetrating enough.

Well, Novak was great, Fed not so much.
Still this was just an exo, doesn't mean that much.
Remember in 2010 Federer also wasn't good in the AO warm-up (lost to Söderling @Abu Dhabi, lost to Davydenko @Doha) and went on to win the Open.
In 2011 Federer already played quite good at Abu Dhabi (lost final in two TBs against Nadal) and won Doha but didn't win the Open (Novak was just too good there)
