I thought it would be a cool idea for MTF to simulate many of the tournaments that are cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak. We will continue the game with the clay court ATP250 events in Estoril & Munich. The draws for both events will completely randomized. Qualifiers are randomized and the WCs are chosen by me.

ALL-NEW: For the very first time, we will play TWO events in the same week and the schedule below will apply to BOTH events.

How to Play:
  • As in past MTF draw games, each vote will cast as one game for the whole match.
  • Please post all of your votes in ONE post for the entire section. We will go section by section and we will finish each match from the entire section before we move on to the next section.
  • You do not have to vote for a specific match if you don't wish to do so.
  • If you are the one that completes a single match, you can, but are not obligated to post 'Player A def. Player B (insert scoreline here)'
  • You may NOT vote more than once per hour and you also may NOT cast a second set of votes unless another user votes before you even if the one hour timer is expired. The only exception to this is the following - - If you are the one that completes a section, you may post the next section and can cast the first votes.
  • There are no tiebreakers. One vote can determine a 6-6 tie for a set.
THE FOLLOWING VOTING PHASES WILL NOT START BEFORE THE TIMES LISTED BELOW:
R32 Top Half - Not before Monday, 1:00 PM CET
R32 Bottom Half - Not before Tuesday, 1:00 PM CET
R16 Top Half - Not before Wednesday, 1:00 PM CET
R16 - Bottom Half - Not before Thursday, 1:00 PM CET
QF - Not before Friday, 1:00 PM CET
SF - Not before Saturday, 1:00 PM CET
F - Not before Sunday, 1:00 PM CET

NOTE: If someone opens a round before the start times listed above, I will delete all the votes and we will start over at the correct time. My hope is that people will know when the rounds are being played and get the opportunity to cast at least one vote. This is a continuation of our trial run and if it doesn't work, we will not do it again.

2020 Game History:
Miami - Winner: Stan Wawrinka
Monte Carlo - Winner: Jan-Lennard Struff
Barcelona - Winner: Rafael Nadal

Struff will no doubt sweep the entire clay swing. I wouldn't mind an early exit here, as long as he's fresh for RG and the two masters, that's what's important here. Stuff shouldn't be wasting his time with micky mouse tournaments like this.

Hopefully at RG we can get that dream CLAYray v Struff final.

Are we going to simulate Roland Garros or wait until September (considering they haven’t cancelled yet)?

We will do Roland Garros in May in honor of the pre-COVID-19 schedule.

He is playing for the BMW of course. Coming and taking.

Whoever starts tomorrow should refer to the schedule in Post #1. Both Estoril and Munich top halves will be played tomorrow beginning no earlier than 1pm CET.

@Arsenalex - I hope this schedule works a bit better for you and the other Aussies. If not, I will ensure that the next tournament works perfectly for you. Also, are you still planning on updating the rankings? If not, then I figured it would be important to mention to everyone that all the tournaments will run by the rankings 2020-03-16 which is where they were frozen. No pressure either way. :)
