MTFision 2008!!....Think of Eurovision....but in MTF

I've been thinking about this for a while....and now that I'm starting the thread....I think this could be a terrible terrible idea....:lol: Actually this is all about knowing new music from around the globe.
Anyhow....let's see what happens when this is posted.

MTFision might be a little parallel contest to the obvious reference, Eurovision...but this time world wide (MTF world wide).

The idea is to have a selection of artists from as many countries as possible and make them compete to win the MTFision contest.

Rules

Artists/Songs
These artists will represent their countries and will be chosen by their countrymen. Songs must have been released in 2006/07 period...2007 preferably.

There will be two (or three) different categories in which countries will have to find representation which are: POP artist/group and ROCK artist/group.

This won't be a individual contest...people must gather and discuss their representation....because only one commitment per country will be accepted.

Renown artists won't be accepted, I mean...USA - Madonna...:haha: Ireland - U2....nope...:lol:

Artists and their songs chosen must have a videoclip posted in youtube.

Votation
I haven't decided yet....we can discuss this....it could be by polls...giving the artist/song points from 1 to 10 or we can do sort of the Eurovision way...a jury from each country making a list of their 5 (or 10) most liked artists/songs and rating them by their position.

Commitments
One commitment per country will suffice.
