The classic version of this game without any mod.

Another thread as the last one became a little bit messy :D

----

Welcome to the MTF TE US Open!

A few simple rules:

1. First and most important rule is that everyone can join!

2. After deadline's over a random draw will be generated

3. You have to talk with your opponent and find the best time for both of you to play the match. You can chat here to find it or talk personally, furthermore to talk about who should host the game and much more.

4. If you can't find time to play tennis elbow then just announce it here. Your opponent wins by walkover. The same vice versa.

5. We play the MTF TE US Open, that means surface is Blue-Green cement. Format is Best-Of-Three, here a screenshot of the settings:

6. If you host you have to choose under the setting 'controls' the option 'Simulation Controls'. We play with Ball preview on plus Danger zone, aiming off. Tiredness on and Fair mode, that's important.

At the end the hosting-settings should look like in the screenshot below:

7. To maximise the joy of this game it is recommended to utilise Hamachi Free to have lag-free matches resp. to avoid many lags.

Hamachi guide

1) Go to network -> create or join network

2) Tell your opponent your IP address and port

3) Host a game. Your opponent joins by typing in the IP and port here

8. Make a screenshot of the result and post it here in the thread.

Doesn't matter how bad you are, @Stan del Potro is worse than you  :yeah:

Interested? Then just join! :D

Edit: Have to extend the deadline unfortunately due to personal reasons. New date is Thursday, 12 pm GMT.

I still have to think, no? I need the fans shouting 'Come on, Andreas', no?

In with a new gamestyle and tennis elbow on steam, cos I had to think of new tactics. Unfortunately my elo succumbed and i have more number of games (Could be that my game registered one of my earlier playing profiles), but its probably better suited, for my overrated level.

In.

Hopefully I will draw someone like BroTree or InfoKenway in the first round so that I can take out the trash with the mightiest upset in MTF TE history.
Hopefully you'll beat these clowns

Lots of pressure on you guys this tournament. It's a two-horse race for that elusive 0-4 record. Can both of you get there or will one of you choke and win a match?
I am now 1-3 after beating Stan del GOATro :worship:

But still 0-3 in actual tournaments, so hopefully I will draw Moonball Pusher in the first round for an extravagant battle.

I'd go as far as to say the draw is rigged if we don't get acacacacademy vs Moonball Pusher R1, it's destiny for this match to happen.

I'm considering joining this lovely tournament. Since I only have a demo version, would it be less fun ?

If you're playing against somebody who has the full version (most of the regulars here do) it's fine as there is no time limit. If it's against a player who is also using the demo you'll be on a 10-minute time limit per match, which means you'd need to play the match in "installments" and keep track of the score. In that latter case yes it's a little bit annoying, still really good fun and worth participating though! :wink2:
