Let's try to make this thread fun by posting the poems about this forum and about tennis in general.

Poems can be standalone or a part of discussions / debates.

So let's get the poems party started.

Unbiased's MTF Poem

Unbiasness and facts
are hated by tards
being insightful, telling the truth
gets your thread cleaned like a dirt

tard wars and GOAT race – that is cool
but if you are unbiased they call you a troll
unbiased fan – is that really exists?
well, let’s just report his threads to get moved to the Ruins

reports and the Ruins – that’s not enough ammunition
so a tard spreaded the word and started a petition
petition for me to get me banned
but the reason prevailed, and on the forum I stayed

and now the main question – who is the GOAT?
which fanbase has the right to endlessly gloat?
all I can say – the race is still on
and it’s not just slams, it’s also the Olympics

What a brilliant idea. I go the haiku path:

A backhand shanked
Pink Cherry trees in Paris
Mirka cries again

I got to hand it to the OP. He's an educated individual compared to this new kitty2 dull troll that spams GM like a gun machine.

that's amazing.

I shouldn't try do anything in this thread after this disaster of an attempt:

Though my Novak poem was maybe a tad better

Code:
Oh Novak, the Djoker, did they not call him the BOAT
But for what a short time that BOAT did float?
Four in a row they cheered him so glad,
But why are now these times so sad?
The birds in the corner all laugh and scorn,
At the hearts of those from whom he has torn.
How did we not set sight on this day,
When his strength, his armor, all went astray?
Dejected ones, despair not, there have been better days,
This moment surely is but a fleeting phase.
For while now he lies in the realm of beasts,
There may find a time his madness ceases,
Then he will taste dew from heaven above,
And humbly remember that great thing, first his love.

This was in late 2017, I guess I inspired him...

THE ODE TO TENNIS-PLAYER

Tennis-player of ATP-tour,
You are compare with poet on the court!
Your powerful body and muscles
are created for this sport.

You denote life to the tennis!
It is your God and your fate!
The purpose – to play with all the power!
The drills during a six hours -a rate.

You are fan of Kuerten and Agassi.
They are players of your childhood!
You like Martina Hingis also
And Elena Dementieva is very good!

You love tennis on the clay
and run along the back line
for each quick ball and smash
until you feel yourself fine.

You have twenty aces in the match!
it seems your sight is optical.
Roddik is looked as a child near you.
Because you are strong tactical.

The last set will finish soon.
You play without pauses and rest.
Your opponent will be broken.
Win and you will be the best!

Got to give credit where credit is due - a good initiative by OP.

I went for a Limerick. As you might know, the style has quite a few restrictions. Line 1,2 and 5 should rhyme and be longer. Line 3 and 4 should have fast rhymes. Importantly, the first line must end with a town or possibly some other type of geographic location. On top of that, if you are a few syllables off, the rhythm won't work when reading it. And, of course, hopefully, you end with a punch line. Keeping that in mind, you have to forgive me if I settled for a few slant rhymes:

A hotshot lawyer once lived in New York
He lost a bet, or so everyone thought,
he said "No, I will stay
whatever you say
you can't shoo me with your torch and pitchfork"

I have a fondness for Limericks, so here comes another one:

Three players from distinct countries, one of them Spain
to the younger generations caused insurmountable pain
they said "back down now big three
we sure don't wanna see
you still beating us, when walking around with a cane"

The Limerick was inspired by a picture I have posted before, allegedly taken by a time traveler photographing the last men standing at Wimbledon 2059:

"The Lawyer"

A $250,000 salary barely covers living costs
A bet, not honored
A very attractive girlfriend, turning to dust
And yet, he soldiers on
Untiring
Unrelenting
The Horde must be stopped.

"Real Men Wear What?"

Pink shirts, brainwashing, liberal western media
Tennis is a temple, must remain pure
Wimbledon dress code, dedicated to masculinity
Pink wearing encroachment, not in my sport!

"Roxi's Anger"

For what, would I be a Rafa fan?
If not for hatred of the evil one
Federer ... arrogance ... Jordan Peterson
I am old woman, hear me roar!

Is Fed the GOAT?

Who is the GOAT, the question is now
Fedtards say Fed, but I don’t know how
it’s like they think it’s all about style
and peak in the weak era, well that makes me smile

Style over effectiveness, that sounds like a joke
comparing Roddick to Novak, better compare him to Gaskoke
Is Fed equal to the best – I would say not,
he is simply being dominated by them a lot

They say “age difference”, and Fed as the GOAT stays,
but I would say - age difference? – it goes both ways
And if we compare eras – the best had it tougher,
and then arguing with Fedtards gets a whole lot rougher

But the GS record – Fedtars were saying for years,
and now when it’s close, popularity suddenly appears,
being the most popular is greater than slams,
sounds like Fedtards can’t take any more jabs

We can conclude objectively – Fed is not the GOAT,
but can he become the one – never say not
Fed is ageless and is reaching new peaks,
he will have his chances at 2020 Olympics

MTF isn't so interested in poems? I expected a little more rhymes in this thread, both new and from the past.

I know that the winter follows the fall
and in New York the buildings are tall
I hear that in China they have a Great Wall
I know these things and more
but there's just 1 answer I'm on MTF still looking for...

who is the GOAT? who is the GOAT?
I ask you, please, who is the GOAT?
GM, Ruins, threads, posts
can the tards unite for once, and answer
- who is the GOAT?
