Which five countries EXCLUDING the United and Russia, have the most players in the top hundred.

For extra credit, order them. I'll post the answer in a bit. Or tomorrow.

Actually, you're both right. However, I just noticed a SIXTH country that should be on the list also.

I take that back... we should just add Italy. I get my SLOV's mixed up... there are only a few from Slovenia and many from Slovakia

Impressive how a small country with only $10.000.000 inhabitants can have 3 top 100 players: BELGIUM :bounce:
We had 6 top 100 players a couple of years ago with Clijsters, Henin, Van Roost, Appelmans, Callens and Courtois

And I wouldn't call it impressive because their are other countries in the list with less inhabitants who are above us like Suisse etc.

I don't know about Slovakia and Croatia but I don't think teir poplution is way above 10 million

Umm, Croatia has 4.5 million people. Half the New York. Slovenia, has 2.7 mil people. On top of that, Belgium has a truckload of more money then either of these countries (Croatia, especially). I'm not saying that Belgium tennis isn't impressive, I'm just saying there's more impressive stats around :)
Now if only Lucic would come back so we can once again have 4 top100 players... :D

Well France have 5 if we took all the retired players off the rankings. I would be interested to find out the average ranking of players from each country, just for more statistical trivia.
