Before the Open Era, the Pro Tour also had their Major Championships which were Wembly-Indoor, Paris- Clay and indoors, US Pro-Grass. Including the regular slams the overall totals are: Rosewall- 23 titles won, Laver-19, Gonzales-14, Sampras-14, Tilden-13, While this may not be an offical statistic to some, I think it is a pretty good indication as to how the Pros would have done in the Slams had they been allowed to play them before 1968.

Not as many players participated in the pro tour championships I think, I heard it was kind of like a small club between the greatest players in the world. I think it is hard to consider them the same status as majors, but tey certanly deserve some status.
