I think it's Murray and Djokovic. Although Fraud has an obnoxious game as well but he isn't even close to these two. Both love to push without power. When they meet up, it is a very slow repetitive pushing match. No big FH, no net play, no big serve but waiting for each other's mistake.
Even when there's some "variety" like slice it is the mechanical BH to BH.

Two players with the same awful style of play meeting up = Catastrophe!

No disrespect to Murray but none of his matches with the big 3 are fun to watch, maybe with the exception of him vs fed and that's because who he's playing.

Djokovic-Murray overall and it's not even close. They bring out the worst in one another, especially in slower conditions. It's a somewhat more watchable matchup on grass and faster HC however.

If we're talking strictly about current matchups, then Fed-Nadal probably wins 'most boring' by default since they essentially became Nadal exhos after Fed's decline.

1) Djokovic-Federer, the greatest rivalry in the history of tennis.

2) Federer - Murphy, nice tactical battle. Noone has a big advantage. Murphy's returning + defensive wall game vs Federer's attack. Can be a cracker if both are playing good tennis.

3) Djokovic - Nadal - Fun when Nole isn't choking.

4) Djokovic - Murphy - Tactical battle of attrition and about who blinks first. Repetitive boring tennis however.

5) Murphy - Dull - Fun when Murphy is attacking and doesn't fold like a cheap tent.

6) Fedull - Worst and most OVERRATED matchup in the history of tennis. Boring ,ugly moonballing to Fed's 1HBH. If you've seen one match, you've seen it all. Never have I seen such a lopsided matchup among two players who have won so many slams.

Purely tennis wise it would be Djoko vs. Murray. But I vote for Fed vs. Nadal since the outcome is obvious unless they play on grass/fast indoor HC. Djokovic against either Rafa or Fed is certainly the best to watch.

I might be minority here but I find Murray/Djokovic pretty entertaining. Long rallies, that's what usually get crowd going. You will get standing ovation from the crowd by exchanging 25 something rallies. What I find boring is quick serve and volley in a fast court. Raonic is perhaps the most boring player to watch and whenever Raonic is playing, it's just hard to draw attention, even if the opponent is Federer.

I love a good rally but only when there's some attacking intent to most of the shots. Djokovic and Murray are both capable of aggressive grinding (that's how they play Nadal) but they usually choose to play very conservatively against one another. Their main goal seems to be avoiding making mistakes and that leads to endless off-speed exchanges.

Gun to my head, I do choose Djokovic-Murray over two players who prefer very short rallies. OTOH, Djokovic or Murray versus a short rally specialist usually makes for entertaining tennis (Murray-Raonic and Djokovic-Isner come to mind).

There was not any way to make Rafa popular . Only Fed could do it. So matches with Fed made Rafa what he is today. He could lose to Darcises,Rosoles,Davydenkoes,Kyrgioses and so on but no one of these guys will get the same glory as if they defeat Fed. Fed can play definitely better against Rafa but as he said it takes mentally a lot of him. Rafa is too mechanical and Fed at the end gets bored. Djokovic does not mind it. He could do that for 6 hours AO12. I had a feeling they have played the same point again and again and again for 6 hours. Fed can not do that just because it is not in his DNA. He was quite frank in his interview after DC tie vs Italy.

Federer vs. Nadal is the most boring, overrated, media hyped, one-dimensional piece of garbage match-up of modern times. For the Fed fans, it means watching Nadal became mandatory and for those who weren't familiar with his game - they were removed from Roger's beautiful tennis and plunged down into the abyss of the ugly game.
