maybe if Nick time to train, stretch or even walk with back straight and erect he would be so injury prone.

At least he chose the right sport, an individual sport so he can choose his schedule to suit his fragile body.
If he played a team sport like basketball he'd be doomed, or more doomed.

MTF when Del Potro gets injured: "Poor guy. Worst bad luck in the history of tennis".

MTF when Kyrgios gets injured: "His own fault. If he trained hard enough, he wouldn't get injured"
What a comparisson :surprise:. They clearly have the same work ethic/values for life ... :wink2:...

Awful luck for Nick, at this point he's just hopping from injury to injury. He should really try doubles at least for a while. Way less punishing on the body and he might even start having a good time in court.

Obviously Del Potro is a harder worker, great professional etc and his injury situation is sad, but he does have a point in that, there are a few injury prone players like Nishikori, Tsonga, Raonic etc and people put the blame on them more often than not.

It's terrible news, but I have a feeling he is more injury prone due to not training as much and not doing the proper stretching.

For example in his match vs. Federer in the Laver Cup he refused to do any stretching and or pre match warm up. Literally was just watching T.V. before the match and "chillin". Correlation does not equal causation, but there is no way his lacsidasical tendencies bring him any benefit or strength when stepping out onto the court.

Don't worry Kyrgios fans, Trollvedev is here.

Did his best Kyrios imitation today with first serves for 2nd serves, aggressive hitting, quite a few UEs from the agression, and quite a few serve and dropshot. Med 6-2, 6-1 over Lajovic

By playing he would have risked to accidentally touch his back while actually having elbow issues, so this was the recommended move.

It's true tho. Kyrgios even admits it and was chastising himself mid match during the USO lead up (I forget which match) for not training or eating properly.

You also don't get such a variety of injuries from head to toe when you look after yourself.

We shouldn't let facts get in the way of a good renegade narrative.

Pretty annoying to see him end his season early again, but it's as NID as it gets. Wake me up when he finishes one for a change.

With all that chillin' you'd expect him to be at least mentally composed during his matches :|

Anyone who's watched him in recent weeks knows how little he's been trying, but tbh thought that was just because he tanks the Asian swing every year.
