Klizan led 4*:2 in first set TB but eventualy lost it. Then at the beginning of 2nd set Troicki broke Klizan and it seemed that it's all over. Until 4*:3 Troicki didnt face single break point yet he got broken, then one more time and lost set 5:7.

Third set: Klizan gets broken by losing 4 straight points from *30:0, then is not able to convert any of 7 break points chances in following two service games of Troicki.

He should have won that in 2.

Weird statement, especially considering that Klizan was a minibreak up three times in the tiebreak (1*-0, then 3*-1 and 4*-2, then 5*-4). Both players were dominant on their serves in the 1st set until that TB, so it could go both ways, Klizan was arguably even closer to taking that set. Troicki was very clutch in this match, converting 3 of his 3 break points, while Klizan went 2 for 11. That and the close tiebreak made the difference, Klizan had his chances in all three sets but Troicki played the big points better. That´s all we can say from just watching the scoreboard because stream wasn´t available here. I mean, Klizan was probably tired here too, so even if he got all the momentum going to the 3rd set, then I can imagine how frustrated he was after dropping a serve from 30*-0 and then missing the 7 break points. He probably just quit fighting after that, being physically and mentally exhausted. Can´t really blame him.

Klizan and Lacko of Slovakia are fast becoming the new Haase and Huta Galung of the Netherlands.

Woeful BP conversion by Klizan today. Deserved to lose because of it.

Didn't Troicki convert all or pretty much all his BPs?

Should've, would've... This Troicki win is good for humanity and for justice because the WADA screwed him big time. And it is clear now that he was not on anything as at that time he was playing crap tennis and was clean. But the WADA team just would not listen to his account of what he had been advised to do. Anyway, I like Klizan and I think that overall he most probably is the more talented player, but after being denied playing competitive tennis for 1 1/2 yrs Troicki is using his chances, which is good for some kind of justice. The luck you mentioned may have come from an interventionist God, you never know

Lacko is a lost cause, but Klizan can be clutch at times. Won the match vs Dolgopolov this year while losing like 23(?) points more in total in that match. He was able to beat Brown last week while losing 6 more points in total etc.. This match, yeah, he was extremely unclutch, collapsing in the tiebreak and being 2 for 11 on his BPs while Troicki being 3 for 3. It happens. It´s not like this all the time with Klizan these days.

Mentally and physically tired probably in that 3rd set, should've led 5-0* in that set instead of 2-3*.. coulda, shoulda, woulda.. :)

I have no idea how Troicki is getting so many wins this year with that FH. The matches I've seen of his it is worse than ever.

nice win for Troicki but rough considering Klizan was probably wiped out from his title win the other day
