Monte Carlo QF: Federer def. Tsonga 2-6 7-6(6) 6-1

What a comeback by Roger! Back in the SF! He definitely wasn't playing his best, but he hung in there and waited for his opportunity. He was a couple of points away from losing in straight sets at 5-6 30-30 and 6-6 in the tiebreaker. :) Horrible bp conversion though 2/19 lol

Tsonga was playing great tennis, but got a little tight in the breaker and was very deflated in the 3rd set.

Awful, awful stuff in itself, but I can live with it if he also beats Djokovic (giving Ferrer manages to beat Wawrinka).

Bad choke from Tsonga.

Good lord. Now I like Nole but he needs to lose so Roger can keep his slim lead against him. But he probably won't. lol

Breadstick in the decider. Awefull BP conversion in the second but he picked up his game in the second part of the match. I think Nadal's loss had a factor in the quality of his play.

Good for Roger. Never give up. He's going to be spanked in the semis but still very good. Valuable ranking points in the pocket

Tsonga should've taken his chances at 6-5 0-30 on Fed's serve. Also he played a horrible tiebreak. The deciding was NID. Federer was far from his best and not inspired at all in key moments. Anyway he'll raise his level for Djokovic that's for sure

watching this after Ferrer - Rafa makes me realize how good actually Ferrer is.

This was hard court tennis on clay, nothing to do with real clay tennis.

Federer never forgets the day when he lost to Tsonga in Wimbledon.

Got to be one of the chokes of the year lmao and to think Jo had 0-30 on Feds serve at 6-5*, yet he decides to clown and try and run around to his forehand on a deep shot from Fed.

Oh well, congrats Fed. Will have to up your game to have a chance against Novak.
