Michael Lammer, born on March 25th 1982.


He has just won all the qualifiers for this year's US Open and is in the main draw, the first appearance in a Grand Slam tournament. So, he deserves his own thread!!!

His first round opponent is Kevin Kim. Good luck to Michael!! :)

Agree he deserves his own thread!!

He's been quite a good junior but then he got injured I believe. Finally his training is paying off.

I just checked the information in his website. He made the matura exam in 2002. Nice that he had academics along with his tennis career.

He lost to Hrbaty. He could only win 5 games in 3 sets (I think...), but he should be satisfied with this because he won all 3 qualifying rounds and a match in the main draw, something he had never done before in a grand slam tournament... Looking forward to your future success, Michael!! :worship:

Oops I totally forgot to come this thread after the DC, so I did not yet tell that he is really cute :hearts: I really liked him, and he is one of my new fave players for sure now.
