Gasquet should have won the first set like 10 times over. No exaggeration.
If it's coming from you, this must be true

How did Novak play, couldn't see the match.

Nole plays one point brilliantly then 10 points like someone forced him with a gun to play.

Del Potro has a shot against this Novak if he gets past Ferrer today... And his nemesis Fed had left too so maybe it's Juan Martin's time finally?

Then again, you know Novak will take it up a notch in the next few matches. Richard should be disappointed with his career - he could have made a lot more of his talents. To think of the potential that was there in 2005...

Del Potro will play Novak at night where the overrated ballbasher has no chances .........

Good and very entertaining first set with lots of outstanding rallies. Djokovic kinda went out a bit overconfident, tried to take this as a practice match (practicing backhands dtls), but quickly realized that Gasquet is there to play. I was surprised at first at Gasquet tactics to constantly attack the backhand wing, but it proved very efficient, I can't remember when was the last time Djokovic had that much pressure and so many problems on that wing. The first set deserved a tiebreak. In the second Richie went awol for a while(like he ussually does), enough for Djokovic to routinely end the match.
