Great serving from Muller for most of the match----until the end of the first and third sets. Serve percentage dropped in both sets at the end and he was broken at the end of both sets, including when serving for the match at *5-3. He was twice up a mini-break in the tiebreaker, and double faulted ahead *5-3 in the breaker. But finally, he got though in the end after winning another mini-break at 5 all, and finishing the match off on serve.

27 aces for Muller and a 4-0 H2H over Bogomolov now. Tons of points down the drain for the Russian.

great chance for him to make it to 3rd round, I'd love to see the ever so rare Federer vs. Muller, I'm sure Harmless does too ;) :D

The end of the season. It was really this week where he beat Murray here last season where his rise started at the ATP tour and he kept it up throughout the entire year for the most part. It officially started at the end of 2010 in challengers, when he started winning again. But it looks to be all over now.

He won't be seeded at grand slams anymore, that's the first good news

Yes, and not being seeded means he's more likely to face tough players early. Guys aren't taking Bogomolov for granted anymore, and he doesn't have the same motivation this season. It's a very similar situation to Dodig, where they just play above themselves and everything comes together for them, until reality crashes on them.

Bogo's biggest problem is his lack of a forceful serve, though. It's a decent placement serve, but his last few losses which have been to Matosevic, Stakhovksy and Muller, they have the serves to get them out of trouble plus can break Bogo. He'd be better if he had a Ferrer serve and won more free points with it.
