Not a great quality match. Scoreline is very deceptive. First set was a lot more one sided than 6-3 suggests and second set was not as one-sided as 6-1 suggests. Sock was the weakest link in the game by far. He played well in maybe 2 or 3 games towards the end of the second and a point or two in the MTB.

Bryans led 5-0* in the TB, before P/S got it back on serve at 8-8.

Masters #33, title #105 :worship:

I love how the Bryans specifically thank the crowd for supporting doubles.

Miami F: Bryan/Bryan def. Pospisil/Sock 6-3 1-6 [10-8]

Great final! Saw some of the 1st Set, many of the 2nd, and much of the decider. Sock was said to be inconsistent, not really doing well in the first Set, while the team steamrolled in the 2nd (although with a help of a DF on Deciding Point by the Bryans). Third Set I think they had a little bit more fun and Bryans showed why they are champions and got to a 5-0 lead. However, an important *8-4 point at Brayns' serve, Pospisock was able to rebreak to give them a chance to get close -- they did, which gave them a one point deficit, which they were able to capitalize. Not much during the important 8-all as Sock could've been more aggressive to force an error. Not sure what happened at MP but the Bryans finally converted. I like that this is a healthy rivalry (Pospisock winning Wimbledon & IW, Bryans winning in Miami) and all of the important matches had gone the long way. Veterans and fresh faces battling out is nice for the doubles category and hope more matches from them again.

If Sock hit that FH at 8-8 like he's capable, this match probably has a different outcome. Have a feeling this won't be the last time we see this matchup in a major final this year, though.

Well, maybe that wasn't the best match in terms of quality, but momentum was changing quite often. Enough to say that Mike has been broken, when Bryans had 24/25 points won on their serve (20/21 before that 4th game, when they lost serve). Also in Match Tie Break it looked like match is over, Bryans led 5-0, but few points later the worst player on court had possibility to earn a Match Point...

Pure pleasure, these doubles... Fascinating and exciting... :) :)

The momentum shift so fast 1-1 and Mike lost his serve. PopSock was in total control at the end of 2nd set but suddenly they were down 0-5 in match TB. Kudos to them fought all the way back to 8-8 but consecutive error by Sock and then Vasek (let the ball go thinking it's going out instead the ball dropped in) at MP gave the title away.

If both Vasek and Jack played good, the match was theirs.
