Well, thank God Carlos Moya won his semi ... so we may finally get to see him on TV! I am so-o angry with Channel 7 & the Adidas International organisers ... to have NO coverage at all of the highest seed left in this tournament (since Day 2!), who's been playing brilliantly, not dropping a set, is not acceptable. To put the first Centre Court scheduled singles Moya/Ferreira match out on Court 1 in favour of Hewitt's match (scheduled second after Moya), even using the rain delay as an excuse, is inexcusable! Why didn't the Hewitt/Verkerk match go to Court 1? As it turned out, that H/V match was a fizzer as Verkerk 'retired' after the first set!
It seems you have to play an Australian to get on Centre Court ... talk about America favouring Americans on Centre Court at the US Open - this is just as bad, if not worse! (And I am Australian ... who assumes Australians only want to watch Australians play? And will they give Moya a 'practice' on Centre Court before the final, a la David Nalbandian at Wimbledon? I think not ...)
This must be the only tournament where a player of the calibre of Carlos Moya has been ignored so obviously! Shame, Australia, shame!
Well, Carlos, you now have the chance ... you have come here a winner (Chennai Champion), have won every match in 2004, and this is the Davis Cup final match we never had. Keep up the high standard.
Show everyone your worth & beat Lleyton again!!

Indeed totally agree with you
But i am used to this kinds of situations with moya, How many times have i written or read from other fans such a comment. We can not count it!!!! too many times, no word about moya in the press after he won many matches in a tournement, only a few (maybe 1 or 2) photos, etc, no interview. I remember last year from the last eight players their was an interview but not from moya who was one of those eight. Forgot which tournement, but it was one of the last ones ( sept untill november), so those tournements results were important for the masters ticket!!!

Moya is on fire & has a great record v Hewitt
when he's on. He absolutely killed Robredo & Ferreira, & Hewitt's game fits
his strengths perfectly....

Nando - not to sure, but my guess is early afternoon
6-3 6-3 to Moya....

Australia is as bad as America when it comes to schedualing matches.....fucked I know but it's something you have to deal with...I don't understand why they played Carlos out on ct 1 the entirety of this year when he played on center court for all his matches last year....

I hope he kicks lleytons ass so the tourney directors choke on their weet bix!!!

VAMOS CARLOS!!!!!
