Hi! Today I was checking the stats of the epic John Isner vs Nico Mahut in Wimbledon 2010 and I realized that John Isner won with 478 points while Mahut lost with 502 points, that means that Mahut won 24 points more than Isner and still lost, so we can say that John Isner won with a -24 points differential.

So I was just wondering if you guys know matches with a big point difference (when the winner won less points than his opponent), both in best of 5-set matches and best of 3-set matches. Is Isner's victory the record of a player who won a match with the biggest (negative) point difference?

Greetings :wavey:

Thanks mate, I didn't noticed the existance of the 1st thread despite the fact that I used the search function (but not the Advanced search function, that can be the reason). The second thread is about other topic.

It is of 2006, a little bit old but I think that a moderator or an administrator can merge this thread with the "Winner has less points than loser", which sound about right.

Thanks ;)
