Doh! Missed it. Just came back from work and didn't expect him to win so quickly.

Anyway, nice birthday present JC. :yeah:
Have a good one. :bdaycake: :aparty:

Well done to JCF for celebrating his 28th birthday with a pretty comfortable victory. He very nearly reliquinshed a double break lead in the opening set, but thankfully he cruised through the 2nd set.
He will face Mahut in the next round.

Lee isn't up to much these days, and he was there for the taking anyway, considering his Davis Cup exploits over the weekend.

Happy 28th JC!

Yeah, I'm surprised Lee showed up, to be honest. He must have been exhausted after two long Davis Cup matches and he didn't even get a Wednesday start.

Maybe he knew it was JC's birthday and only showed up to get the L before moving on to San Jose. ;)

Excellent win on his birthday:) Feliz Cumpleaños Juan Carlos!!! Mahut doesn't stand a chance. The way he's playing this year is just fantastic, I think the title drought is almost over.

Juanqui! So comfortable over Lee indoors. Well actually, Lee was pretty fatigued and not in form to begin with, but this kind of scoreline should become routine again for JC.
