Dolgopolov isn't allowed to lose matches against players without a baseline game.

:haha: Mika won most of the rallies actually- he wasn't that great at net today.

Mediocre match at its best, quite some entertainment value though.
Nice job by Llodra in the 3rd set TB. Congrats Mika!

Dolgo... when is he finally going to learn to cut down all those UEs?

dog had his chances. he fucked it up.

he got his break in the 3rd set. that should have been enough on these fast courts. he was also leading 2-0 in the breaker.

2-0 in the breaker isn't really much, especially with someone as prone to making unforced errors out of nowhere.

Small digression about the net-cords which influence on the final outcome but no-one gives a shit to raise automatically his hand.

At 5:5 (30-15) in the 3rd, Dolgopolov played a great return from Llodra's first serve which could give him 30 all, but the umpire said "let, first serve", instead of 30 all a moment later Llodra led 40-15.
At 3:2 for Llodra in the tie-break Dolgopolov made a service winner but the ball barely touched the net again and instead of 3 all a moment later Llodra led 4:2.

To be super exact with the stupid "apologize thing" Llodra "should've raised" his hand twice but he didn't it once

I have to say, because I was rooting for Llodra I didn't mind/notice as much, but Dolgo didn't seem to be using very good tactics. Like for Llodra, he was having much more trouble than normal volleying today. He should have made him his a lot more tough volleys with slice etc, instead Llodra got a bunch of love service games as Dolgo couldn't seem to find the court.

Pretty bad match but Llodra's volley at 5-3 in the tie-break redeems everything.

Huh since when are you supposed to apologize for let serves? That's kind of crazy. And he's supposed to apologize for Dolgopolov's let serves too?

Don't you understand it was stinging sarcasm because I consider apologizing for net-cords as the most annoying thing in tennis?
