Hi All!!!
I guess most of you have seen the thread about Marat's Video talking in Spanish, yep? But also most of you noticed that on the link that is mentioned there, there is already another video (of Paula Suarez). So please could anyone help us, people-fans who were too late for this event to see Marat talking? Maybe anyone saved this video or knows another links??? Please be so kind................... Write everything you know.....

guys, i'm trying my best to find another video of Marat speaking spanish, but so far no luck. :( If and when i find it i'll post it here for everyone, okay. In the meantime, have a look at this video of Marat from France 2. Scroll down to where it says "Portrait de Safin", then click on it to view the video. Enjoy! :D

Marat Spanish interviews

If you have/can get the ESPN 2002 Monte Carlo tape of Marat v. Robredo, and Marat about to play Gasquet, there are 2 interviews where Marat speaks Spanish. These were shown in Canada, but must have been for a South American ESPN audience (although the commentary was Arais & ?? I don't believe they were ever aired in US.

Marat Spanish interview on tape

A good source of tennis tapes is www.tennistapes.com. Or you could post a request for the tape from a South American poster (ESPN taped this for S Am audiences). The interview shown to N. Am. was over-dubbed with the translator's voice, but you could still hear him. If you need PAL there's VideoArc (Italian) which may still be in business and may have a tape where Marat gives an interview in Spanish. I have seen the tape but don't have the equipment to duplicate the tape.

I'm without a practice for a long time, my spanish is severely rusty I had to replay the audio twice to understand what Marat is saying. LOL!
But I love it! :)
