The Big 3 have had a career of FOUR slams playing to their likeability. Slow and Medium surfaces. Sampras on 4 fast surfaces for slams? Forget it. Those 14 slams would have very easily been 30 slams

Are you seriously bragging that Sampras was garbage on 2/4 slams? And using that as a GOAT argument? Cool story bro

he was the dominant player. He set a record number of grand slam tournament wins. I think he definitly could be considered one of the greatest players ever.
It is difficult to compare different eras.
Therefore i consider Pete Sampras the greatest of that era
Born Borg the greatest of another era. I could easily make the argument that he was the greatest of all time.
Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal the greatest players of another era.
These 4 could easily considered the greatest of all time.

Sampras wasn't even that dominant, he only won 11 masters. No where near the level of the three in this era...

No lies told. Federer has admitted as much. But it is what it is, and why I think greatness can't really be compared across generations. The sport often changes too much for true parallels to be made.

you cannot compare the no from different eras. Borg 9 way more than anyone else in his era when they did not go down to play the australian.
Sampras way more than anyone else in his era.
in this era where the favorites get preferential treatment over other competitors in the field no wonder they win more.
sponsors, time of play, support team, pressure on umpires not to make calls against them, they play away from wind and rain while the others are exposed to it on outside courts and suffer through all kinds of delays.
In all sports to make money the favorites need to be winning or almost win there fore rules and arrangements are made to accomadate the favoretes as much as possible.
That is why all this record setting is happening when someone gets close to setting a record, money is made in bundles and everything is done to make it happen.
new records everywhere in every sport.

Sampras had three slams per season, as Federer and Djokovic also had, because RG was Nadal's.

If Federer and Djokovic had skipped clay court season as Sampras had taking it as a nice training session before Wimb., they would've won more slams.
Of course they were also all in direct conflict with each other for their slams and still all have at least 3 more than Pete.

Agassi, won all four.

Borg - 4 USO Finals
McEnroe - French Final
Lendl - Wimbledon Final
Edberg - French Final

Connors - French Semifinals. 0/4. Got within a set of Gerulaitis in 1980.
Becker - French Semifinals. 0/3 lost to Edberg in 5.

Sampras - French Semifinals. 0/1 never won a set.

Sampras is much closer to Wilander than he is to Connors/Becker, let alone the top 8. If you're arguing surface flexibility, Sampras isn't in the top 10.

then the question becomes, where do you rank Murray? All four slam finals. 5 finals at the Australian Open and 1 at the French, 5 French semifinals. Is he more Versatile than Mugpras?

... And in that sole Semi-final appearance Sampras had to go through baptism & fire just to make it there.... Beating Bruguera in 5 sets in the 2nd round and then Todd Martin also in 5 in the 3rd round... Courier then should've put him out of his misery in the Quarters but blew a 2 sets to 0 lead.Sampras outdid himself that tournament.

Otherwise it would've been a consecutive trio of Quarter Final appearances at the French as his best result.... and yes, your comparison to Wilander would be spot on as he made a consecutive trio of Quarter Final appearances at Wimbledon.
