Madrid QF: Clayray majestic yet again. def Raonic 6-4 7-5.

Another victim routinely swept aside. Raonic may have been injured but he played okay by his standards I guess.

Madrid QF's: Murray def. Raonic 6-4, 7-5

Frustrating match, but glad Murray eventually (inevitably?) came through against Milos.

not quite majestic, more lackluster, but at least he continues to save tennis.

I think Raonic would have won if he wasn't injured.

Congrats to Murray nonetheless.

Credits to Raonic, playing through the pain and fighting to the end.

Another lovely result (i.e. against the potential rise of the so-named "servebots").

Raonic was the better player in set one and then 2 DF and a missed volley cost him, while the 2nd set was pretty even and very good quality. Enjoyed that. :yeah:

This Murray isn't so bad.

Maybe I was too negative during the match, the stats look pretty good. Still I feel he should have beaten Raobot easier given one of his wheels was on the fritz

Murray was strong when he had to be. Another big step forward for him.

Watching Raonic crunch Murray's second serve is awful. The Canadian has the same look in his eye waiting for the second Murray deliver as my my dog does when he's about to get a bone.

Anyway, Raonic is mental for playing with a foot problem.
