I can't say I'm a huge fan now, but I used to be. I have seen only one of her shows. I have a lot of respect for her, her career is inspiring and she is truly a global pop icon.

So now, after her Superbowl HT show, I'm again full of admiration for her.

There is also the matter of that new song. How many great songs does she have? I know she usually has a knack for getting hooked with the right people at the right time, but still, she keeps on releasing great tracks on a regular basis.

Never the best singer, but really a hard worker. And yes, some of her videos are just soft porn, but there are plenty of them that are pure art. And The music, c'mon. She has great songs. I particularly enjoy her ballads/slow tempo songs: Frozen, i'll remember, this used to be my playground, live to tell.

:spit: U2 and Def Leppard??? Funny stuff. Madonna has more quality singles than U2. Sure, she did not produce release Joshua Tree or Achtung Baby, but she has aged a lot better than U2, who have produced crap since Achtung.

and Def Leppard... in the same sentence as The Beatles and the Stones? DL are not even close to be in the same league as Madonna.

I did not mention the quality of the videos but the songs are good pop songs.

I count at least 6 outstanding albums with each of them better than the best of Madonna. Madonna is not even in the same league as MJ.
