Aside from the cramps if you look at his performance across the last few weeks in China he's straight setted everybody except Tien.

Led 7-5,5-3 in Beijing and then 7-6,3-0 with 2bps in Shanghai.

Cramps & theatrics aside I think it's distracted from the fact that he's worked himself back into good form of late.
