First set tiebreak was absolutely the worst I have seen in ages. Both deserved to lose that set.

Andy did well to switch it on when a set and 0-3 down and in the end was playing nearly as well as he was in Doha, in 40 degree heat and blustery conditions.

I think this match has done him the world of good for his Australian Open preparations.

Ljubicic - flashes of good stuff off the serve and backhand but the forehand was all over the place.

that swinging volley at 3-3 in the second with murray off the court was pretty comical. ljubo stopped trying, as expected, after that. one more practice match and then he should be ok for AO

Ljubo was playing very competitive in the first set (not counting the TB :lol and till Murray broke back in the second(with few shocking errors from Ivan).
This is good stuff for him.I'm glad he got some nice practice.
Now please get a good draw for AO and win some matches.
