Ken Rosewall doesn`t get the recognition he deserves~~ certainly one of the all time greats;)
168cm [5`6]

So do you think you`re man FED could win the French Open at age 34yrs:confused:
Lets see if FED`s good enough to make Wimby & USO finals at age 39yrs:p

There is no way in hell anyone is winning the French Open after the age of 29. It's forever going to be a young man's title. Now, Federer might win Wimbledon at 30, 31.

Too bad for Ken Rosewell that he wasn`t eligible to play the Slams between 1957-68 [10-years out of his career]

How good would Federer`s record be if he weren`t allowed to play Slams from age 23yrs->33yrs:confused:

Look at tennis back then compared to now physically... there is no comparison... competition now is deeper and greater...

Sure, Rosewall is one of the greats, but GOAT, hell no...

Also the last "old guy" to win RG was Agassi at 29.

If Federer played back then, his record will still be greater...

Federer would be more dominant in the past due to better biomechanics and a really great topspin backhand. Of course it wouldn't have as much bite with a wooden racket and natural gut, but it'd still be the best.

Adding weight to my argument that what Rosewell did was even greater;)
...
34yrs Rosewell defeats Rod Laver [whom many consider GOAT] in the 1968 FO final:worship:

So FED would have no problem restarting his career at age 34yrs [despite being inelligible for 11-years]

Typical australian champion with a far too large autralian championship count compared to bigger titles.
Comparable with Court, Emerson.
Court of course is a great player.

Boris- When Rosewall won his first two Australian titles, the top players in the world then were either Australian or American. No European or South American had a chance to win there. The top Americans did play there those years. Noone is saying the Ken is the greatest of all time, but underrated and very near the best.
