I have the fond memory of watching Kavelnikov as one of my first live matches, together with my dad. Don't know where it was, I was little at the time. But for me the name Kavelnikov will always have a special tune to it. Great player to watch.

edit: I mean at television.

glad you can appreciate history even an early childhood memory

he was very good in dubs too and won an olympic singles gold in tennis

Whenever I see these names - I wonder why they can't include them all ? All are HoF names and the biggest stars of the past, there is no tennis fan who doesn't know these names.

I didn't think they will ever include him for obvious reasons, match fixing but it is somehow forgotten. Well, congrats, he was a good player, no doubt about that.
